A Perfect Day...
...sometimes the most unplanned days can turn out to be perfect. Today was one of them. We woke early to a warm, sunny day and took our horses to the park for a ride before it got too hot.
We are lucky enough to live in south Langley where there are beautiful parks and countryside on our doorstep...
My horse Bud on the trails
...just 10 minutes from our home is Campbell Valley Park. The perimeter of the park is an 11 kilometer horse trail that has open meadows, forests, even a water splash.
The rest of the park is crisscrossed with walking paths and trails...
Hubby eventing in the park
... next it was back home, a quick change and on the bikes, well hubby's bike - my scooter, and off for lunch...
Nervous Nellie
...home again to grab the dogs, back to the park for a walk in the trails...
... the rest of the day was spent in the sun with a good book and a glass of cold wine from the winery next door (well maybe not just one). Truly a perfect day.
Sun, countryside and a winery next door.. it doesn't get much better than that!
