The Potato Experiment

 

Every year I experiment with something new in my veggie garden with varying degrees of success.  This year it was my potato patch.  I normally plant potatoes in the general veggie garden but I find they sprout up year after year.  So this year I made a separate plot for them and rotto'd an area of garden that is normally lawn. The rotto didn't cultivate the ground very well so...

 

...I lay the seed potatoes ontop of the broken up lawn and brought in soil to cover them, then put landscape material inbetween the rows to cover the grass...

 

...as the potatoes grow, I've been covering them in soil, hilling them.  I'll let you know how it works out.  It should work, shouldn't it?
